Coming to your route this summer!

We’re thrilled to announce that the first of our four new electric buses has officially arrived in California! 🌿 It made its debut at the City’s Earth and Arbor Day Celebration and is now being prepped to hit the streets in June or July.

The remaining three electric buses are expected to arrive later this summer, helping us move toward a cleaner, greener future for our community. 🌎💚

Use MVgo SmartCommute & Earn Rewards!

MTMA has provided this valuable tool for the Mountain View community to inform residents and employees of the various sustainable transportation options available and opportunities to earn rewards through sustainable commuting.  Use the Commute Planner to find customized carpool match options, active vanpools and transit options, or join a bike pool.  Once you have completed a trip, simply log it in the MVgo SmartCommute dashboard “Log Your Trips” tool. The more trips you log, you’ll earn points to redeem using a Tango Gift Card or enter raffles to win other prizes or rewards.  Registration is free and available to all Mountain View residents and employees.  

Follow our step-by-step instruction guide to join the MVgo SmartCommute Subnetwork and start earning points for commuting sustainably! We hope you will join us in our mission to reduce traffic congestion and to improve quality of life for the Mountain View community.

Upcoming Schedule/Service Changes – Effective February 1, 2025

Effective February 1, 2025, the MV Community Shuttle will implement minor schedule adjustments for both Red and Gray Routes on weekdays and weekends.  Additionally, we will be changing the name of an existing stop on the Red Route from “Castro @ El Camino Real (SB)”, to “Castro @ High School Way”, and will be adding a new “Castro @ El Camino Real (SB)” stop, just south of the El Camino Real/Castro intersection.   Click below to view the updated schedules and a map showing the stop changes on the Red Route.

Caltrain Service Update – 06/08/2024 – 06/09/2024, Full Corridor Shutdown

There will be no Caltrain train service between San Francisco and San Jose. A limited Bus Bridge service for Caltrain-dependent riders will be put in place and stop at only 3 stations: San Jose Diridon, Palo Alto, and Millbrae. There will be no replacement bus or train service at other stations, and no bus bridge between San Francisco and Millbrae. We will encourage riders to use BART to get to/from San Francisco.  Amtrak and Capitol Corridor service will not be impacted. Click HERE for more information.

Bike to Wherever Day – May 16th! 

Attention Commuters!
